Far-infrared radiation. The fibers of the inner cover give gentle infrared warmth (emissivity 0.89).

Not a spray-on coating. The fibers with negative ions and infrared radiation are part of the inner cover. This is a physical modification of the material, and the properties are retained after many washes.
