Technologies of the WHIEDA line
We break down the phenomena: what they are, which figures appear in the materials, where in the catalog they are already used. Not “the device heals” — the technology and a list of products.
Terahertz radiation
The part of the spectrum between radio waves and infrared light. Non-ionizing: it does not break molecules apart.
This is not the heat of a hair dryer. A hair dryer blows hot air over the skin. Here it is a directed band of waves. The popular name is “frequencies of life”. Water and proteins have their own oscillations, and the working band is matched to them. The history of this band is longer than any single model: in 1924 Alexandra Glagoleva-Arkadieva published a paper in Nature on short electromagnetic waves down to 82 µm.
This is for you if
How it works
The body consists of water, proteins and cells that oscillate at their own micro-frequencies. With age, strain and stress these oscillations go out of tune. The directed terahertz band is matched to these structures — not as crude heating, but as a frequency-dependent effect.
A hair dryer and a heating pad warm the surface. Here there is a set frequency band, mode, distance and time. During a session people describe deep warmth, different reactions in different areas and a wish to move afterwards. The goal is not to endure the heat.
Nitric oxide is the key to vascular tone: it widens the vessels, blood flows more freely. Research protocols single out 129.0 GHz (molecular oxygen) and 150.176–150.664 GHz (the NO absorption spectrum).
What science says
A quantum of a THz wave carries 0.4–40 meV — too little to break a chemical bond or DNA, unlike X-rays. The energy lands in the same “quiet” oscillations that proteins, hydrogen bonds and water in tissue live by.
Two pathways that reviews describe. Thermal: water strongly absorbs these waves, and tissue responds with local warmth. Non-thermal: the waves are linked to the dynamics of membranes and ion channels — calcium, potassium, sodium.
In 2025, on the Novosibirsk free-electron laser at 2.3 THz, it was shown that THz changes the energy metabolism of melanoma cells without breaking proteins. That is a large laboratory installation, not a household device.
For us the meaning is different: the band is alive, it has been studied for a hundred years, and it knows how to speak the cell's own language.
In the WHIEDA line
The data sheet of the line's devices specifies a 0.03–0.3 THz window. The oxygen and NO frequencies from the research protocols fall within this window. Mode, distance and time are set by the instructions.
In the line, terahertz is used in the Cell Activator, the Activator PRO and the Wentong 1.0.

Anions
Negatively charged air particles. In nature there are many of them near a waterfall, in a pine forest and after a thunderstorm.
They are called air vitamins: where there are many of them, breathing feels different. Tourmaline responds to heat, pressure and moisture with an electric potential. Three everyday conditions activate the layer: body heat, friction from movement, moisture. While the item lies in its box, the layer is silent. On the body, it works.
This is for you if
How it works
In the city we are surrounded by positively charged particles. Tourmaline is a mineral with a measured pyro- and piezoelectric response: skin warmth and micro-movement trigger a flow of electrons. They settle on oxygen and moisture — negative air ions appear.
In the USSR the subject was led by Alexander Chizhevsky. “Air Ionization in the National Economy” — 1960, catalog card in the Russian State Library. At a waterfall the same principle is called the Lenard effect: the splitting of water droplets charges the air. Forest, thunderstorm, mountains are the natural source. The line's product is a pocket-sized layer in the contact area.
Pathogens carry a positive charge on their membrane. Anions attract them and neutralize the charge: activity and reproduction drop. In the line's materials this means freshness, dryness, a barrier against bacteria and support for the immune response in the contact area. Separately, blood fluidity: negatively charged red blood cells do not stick together into “rouleaux”.
What science says
Anions enter through breathing and contact. Reviews link them to mood and stress: the activity of the “fight” sympathetic system decreases, heart rate variability rises, markers like cortisol fall. High air-ion densities in clinical studies eased seasonal and chronic depression at the level of light therapy — those are clinic-level concentrations, not an insole. For everyday life the meaning is different: the same sign of charge as at a waterfall.
Immunity: air ions enhance the activity of NK cells — the ones that meet an infection first. Memory and short-term attention at moderate and high concentrations are also described. A household corona-discharge ionizer does not belong in the same category: it can produce ozone. The tourmaline in the product is not a high-voltage corona. The layer is activated by body heat, friction and moisture.
The line's figures and a moist environment
WHIEDA materials list 1,000–6,000 anions per cm³ for the contact zone. For ordinary mass-market insoles and pads the same source gives 14–24. For the glasses frame separately: 1,000–2,200 ions per cm³.
In the moist environment of mucous membranes, the line's materials are rated at 10 times the anion travel speed — up to 12–15 m/s. Hence the separate conversation about pads and the contact zone, not just “fresh air in the room”.
At presentations the team shows a reading taken with a specialized KY-5010PRO tester. Ordinary air is roughly 5–10 arbitrary units, near the frame around 7,000, after skin contact up to 12,000. Measured indoors, right up against the product, at the same distance, in different seasons.

Graphene
A layer of carbon one atom thick. Experiments with it earned the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics.
Graphene conducts heat better than almost anything we handle in everyday life. In the computer glasses frame it is part of the PA6/G composite together with tourmaline nano-bioceramics: skin warmth and micro-movement activate the anion layer near the face.

What's in the frame
The 2010 prize went to Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov — products of the Russian scientific school. The material was not invented by marketers. In the frame, graphene is part of the PA6/G composite together with tourmaline nano-bioceramics: graphene conducts heat, tourmaline responds with an electrical potential. Together they activate the anion layer near the face.
The lenses are a separate layer of the same frame. Filtering at 380–500 nm, anti-glare, clarity without a yellow tint. The International Commission on Illumination classes 400–500 nm as short-wavelength visible light. This is the physics of the spectrum, not “vision treatment”.

Far-infrared range
The invisible part of the spectrum. The body perceives it as gentle, deep warmth.
Infrared energy is absorbed by tissue and converted into heat. What matters is wavelength, power, distance, time and how the material holds and releases heat.
This is for you if
How it works
Not a flash of heat, not a burn. Steady warmth that builds up. The energy goes into water molecules and the organic bonds of tissue gradually, from within, rather than as a blow to the skin.
In functional textiles, ceramic particles capture body heat and give it back as far-IR. The energy shawl and the sleep system are not a “heating pad in the fabric” but re-radiation. The mini sauna and Wentong heat differently: their power source is different. That's why one product does not copy another.
What science says
Studies on far-infrared radiation cite penetration into soft tissue of up to 2–3 cm — deeper than THz, which water absorbs within the top fractions of a millimeter. The main benefit for a person: microcirculation. After the source is switched off, blood flow is still sustained. This is a non-thermal after-effect: the waves trigger the production of nitric oxide, and vessels stay wider.
A pilot analysis of far-infrared radiation: on sleep quality the group did not beat the control, but physical fatigue decreased more noticeably. For everyday life that is more honest than “sleep soundly in a miracle fabric” advertising: warmth and muscle recovery while you sleep.
In the WHIEDA line
In the line, far-IR is used in functional textiles, the sleep system, the Ba-Gua mini sauna, Wentong and the heating part of the Activators. In some cases the warmth is the goal itself, in others it is part of a procedure alongside terahertz or vacuum.

Thermo-vacuum and gua sha
Controlled negative pressure plus warming. Cupping without alcohol and without random force.
The head grips the skin and subcutaneous layer with negative pressure while warming the tissue at the same time. A glide cream lets you draw a line rather than stay on one spot.
This is for you if
How it works
Electronic pump: five vacuum levels and five heating levels, in sync. You can start gently. Powered by a battery, not a socket: no open flame and no mains cord on damp skin.
Cups used to be applied with alcohol on tweezers. The force wasn't controlled, gliding was painful. Here the level is set with a button, and the cream lets you draw a massage line. That is thermo gua sha. Red marks are possible — their intensity depends on the level, the time and your skin. A strong mark is not the goal and not a sign of quality.
In the WHIEDA line
In the line, thermo-vacuum and thermo gua sha are used in Magic FoHerb 3.0. Training materials compare one session to ten manual massages or a 6 km run; they mention up to 36 million cell micro-movements. That is the language of training, not a measured laboratory protocol.

Molecular hydrogen
H₂ in water is not the same as hydrogen ions and not the same as pH.
Three things often get confused: molecular hydrogen H₂, hydrogen ions and water alkalinity. In the line, the stick prepares water with dissolved H₂ rather than mineralizing it.
Studies on hydrogen water exist. A 2024 systematic review states plainly: larger and more rigorous studies are needed. We do not have a technical datasheet with the H₂ concentration, measurement method and gas retention time in water. Once we get one, this section will grow.

Cryo-processing of cordyceps
Freezing and vacuum concentration of the raw mushroom material into liquid form.
The mushroom cell wall is chitin. The stomach handles dry powder poorly. Processing down to −196 °C opens the cell structure by 95–98%, and vacuum concentration at low temperature preserves the contents. The result is a liquid concentrate with cordycepin, adenosine and amino acids.

Lingzhi spores
Ganoderma lucidum. The spores are the most concentrated part of the raw material.
Lingzhi and reishi are the same mushroom. The capsules are declared to contain spore powder, natural sugars and ganoderic triterpene acids. According to the line's materials: five of the eight essential monosaccharides.

A component of the Three Treasures Elixir.
Wild black ants in traditional formulas are a raw material for endurance. According to the line's materials: organic zinc eight times higher than in beef or liver; amino acids, trace elements, substances of energy metabolism.

Low-molecular-weight peptides
Protein cut into short fragments.
Hydrolysis cuts protein into peptide chains. They do not require the same lengthy breakdown in the stomach as whole protein. In the line this is first and foremost soy peptide; in the coffee drink, collagen peptides.

Spirulina and phycocyanin
A microalga: protein, β-carotene, vitamins, minerals, the pigment phycocyanin.
Spirulina is a food component, not a device. According to the line's materials, the raw material is grown in the Wuyi Mountains area. Forms: tablets and lozenges.
